Description
Job Wright, son of an original purchaser of Oyster Bay's Town Spot, built his house ca. 1665. It was demolished in 1949. Henry Francis Du Pont (1880-1969) salvaged a portion of the interior, moving it to his Delaware estate, where it eventually entered the Winterthur Museum collections.
